HOW TO REMOVE WEEDS IN ARTIFICIAL GRASS
It’s not a very common problem, but you may find the odd weed in your artificial grass.
Normally they’ll be hanging around the edge of the lawn and are very simple to remove, just gently pull them out, along with their roots.
Maintain your surrounding bushes or trees to help prevent airborne seeds from falling on to your artificial turf. You can also use a mild weed killer on your artificial grass without any problem.
HOW TO REMOVE STAINS & SPILLS FROM ARTIFICIAL GRASS
Cleaning up stains & spills from your artificial grass is very easy. Your lawn is meant to be lived on right? So we make sure our artificial turf is stain resistant and very easy to clean.
Most spills can be blotted up with a towel or rinsed away with your hose, but if you’ve got a tougher stain, add some mild soap or vinegar & water and gently rub the stained area.
If you’ve got chewing gum or another sticky substance of some kind on your artificial grass that is difficult to pick off completely, chill it with a few ice cubes in a plastic bag, this should make the gum more brittle so you can then try to remove.
Use a dull knife or spoon to help pry it off without harming the artificial turf fibres.
HOW TO CLEAN PET WASTE FROM ARTIFICIAL GRASS
Is artificial turf pet friendly? Absolutely it is, and the clean-up is very easy!
Simply pick up any solid waste and rinse urine away with a hose.
Weekly hosing of the lawn should take care of any odours, but you can use an odour neutraliser on your artificial turf if necessary.
